    @Panzerstahl-Helm

lol The AI is hilarious :) I’ll add some brief comments after bit

    Edit
The game technically ended at the End of 1946 due to Economic Victory. Panzer and I decided to play on to fight out the big Moscow battle.

Not wanting to take any chances in Moscow, especially with that nasty FlakTower in play, the reich took the entirety of 1947 producing Total War Panzers and airlifting them to the front :)

Soviets rolled poorly in the first rd and moscow was obliterated :)

    Screenshot from 2025-06-24 18-03-22.png

Germany was able to flank the large LM stack and avoid it. The Flak also rolled below average.

I tried a J 2 attack. I had done it once before against Victory but didn’t execute it correctly. I used to do it in solo games, so thought I’d try it if the circumstances were right.

While it ultimately worked, it was a long hard fought battle as Panzer always has a few surprises I don’t see coming :)

To correct the AI, moscow never fell till the end.

Here’s final save EXP Game 8 Panzer Combat Over G 17.tsvg

Thanks to Panzer for another fun and challenging game :)

The Drums begin to beat again and battle will soon be joined once more. This time with Elite Panzers and Heavy Carriers !

    Rock On

    Hi Panzer,

    Great and very detailed report.

    Remember:
1 round of play is 6 months. This concerns your time scale of 15 years of War which would require 30 rounds of play…

Instead of mentioning the rounds, we advice you to instead mention the Year & Season for each round.
Example: Early 1943 (instead of round 7).

This also reminds any viewer of the Historical timeline of World War II.

    Anyway, great game report.

  • 1943 Europe Josh Schoorens Custom A&A Game Report - 1 time ever played

Finland, Romania, Vichy France - Cathy M
    USA - Pat H
    Germany - Mkgionet (me)
    USSR - Alex M
    UK - Mike K
    Italy - Josh S (game’s creator)

I’m thinking I should’ve taken pictures of the empty board before placing any units as there are so many units it’s hard to see where many of them are located as they are covering up the names of several territories. My apologies.

EARLY 1943 took quite some time as there many battles. (Germany initiated somewhere around 15 battles on his turn.)
USA destroyed about half of Germany’s U-boats in the Atlantic , had a sizeable force about to land in Africa, and started making Brazil a staging area.
The remaining German U-boats were able to do some damage to the US Fleet, but not a major impact, though some ground units were lost due to transports being vulnerable in the middle of the Atlantic. Germany and Finland pushed toward Archangel in the North by capturing Novgorod. Moved directly toward Komi by capturing Kaluga, and pushed south capturing Kursk. A minor factory was built in Greece and troops were moved towards the front-lines, or anticipated front lines bordering the English Channel. The German navy took control of the English Channel.
USSR launched a massive counter-attack reclaiming most of the territory Germany had captured, with the notable exception of Novgorod, which still had a strong force. Many casualties on both sides.
    Romania pushes into Kostroma.
UK started building up troops. Although Germany clearly was going after USSR hard, he knew it was only a matter of time before the UK initiated D-Day. Controlling the English Channel was going to be key. In the south the UK consolidated their navy in the Med and took Tobruk in Africa. Troops were pushed into USSR for lend-lease conversion.
Italy cleared out most of the Med, except where the UK consolidated, and they prepared to counter-attack in Africa.
Vichy France pushed towards Western Africa with fleet and troops to meet the coming USA force.

    LATE 1943
Finland consolidated troops and pushed eastward with troops and westward with ships. Made the mistake of leaving several territories unguarded.
USA landed a massive force in Africa, with an equally massive navy. Brazil became a massive staging ground. Many ships, planes, and troops moved into position closer to Europe. A decent sized fleet is moved into the western part of the British Channel.
Germany sees an opportunity for attack with more ships and plans and sinks the US fleet that just moved into the western part of the English Channel, reclaims the Channel, and eliminates Allied ships off the Eastern coast of the UK. A massive battle takes place in Archangel (70+ German units) for a decisive victory. This lend-lease location wasn’t used and now is in control of Germany with little USSR resistance in the north. Not much progress in the southern part of USSR however. German forces in Africa move west towards the massive US force. A bold move utilizing (2) heavy bombers takes Gibralter. Likely a temporary move, but it will at least delay the Allies. Navy moved to meet the US when they are able to come through.
USSR effectively pushes back in the southern half of the country but is unable to retake Kostroma, and they sneakily move their northern navy out and capture Oulu.
Romania navy decisively takes out the southern Russian navy.
UK continues to feed troops to USSR in the south through lend-lease. and continues to amass troops in England. The massive UK navy consolidates and wipes out most of the German navy regaining control of the western part of The Channel.
Italy makes a bold attack to recapture Tobruk and succeeds rather easily.
Vichy France makes a risky attack with most of their fleet and air force against the massive US navy sitting off the coast of Africa. It doesn’t go well and they limp away after taking many losses and inflicting only minor damage. Vichy reinforces Gibralter as best as they can.

  • @barnee

Both the Axis and the Allies each need 31 IPC to win an Economic Victory.

    Interesting…

    Great Game Report.

  • @mkgionet Hey all, I’ve been super busy and don’t really have time to do a full game report, but here’s a quick synopsis of what transpired during Day 2 of continuing this modified Europe game.

Germany kept troops in place along the north and east coasts, fully expecting D-Day to come, but it never happened. Instead, the UK focused mostly om North Africa and USA focused on East Africa, Spain, and to a lesser extent Gibralter. Germany harassed the UK/USA navy in the English Channel to interfere with landing boats and bombardment for any amphibious assault that may take place. Troops marched relentlessly toward Moscow with heavy casualties on both sides. By the end of Day 2 Germany is sitting with a large force 2 territories away from the Russian capital with amassed Finnish troops ready to swoop in behind them. Russia has lost a lot of territory, but has a sizeable air force so it will take constant pressure for the Axis to keep advancing.

The UK & Italy built massive navies in the western med., with the UK and USA briefly taking Greece before Germany recaptured. On the last turn of the day Italy took a gamble and attacked the UK navy, earning a major victory. The UK has significant ground troops in Africa, but thier navy has been wiped out.

Gibralter has gone back and forth between sides, but neither side kept enough troops there to hold it for a full turn. Germany currently holds it, but fully expects to lose it shortly. Spain is divided with one half housing a large amount of Allied troops, and the other a large amount of Axis - big battle coming!

USA has a massive fleet sitting off Africa just waiting to get in the Med. Massive force in Western Africa that keeps advancing. Only thing Axis can do is slow them down. Another massive force on its way from Brazil. An Atom bomb has been built and is sitting in Greenland. Where will the Allies choose to drop it next turn?

France has helped with Africa and Spain as they are able. Romania has pushed Russia back slightly on the southern front, but doesn’t have the firepower to take important territories.

Will the USA & UK be able to put pressure on Germany before Moscow falls? We should find out on Day 3 - 8/30

    Early 1940 - Early 1941

    Germany
The Reich began with a strong U-boat and SS build. Both British Fleets would be hit, along with the Canadians in 106. All of mainland France would be attacked as well as Yugoslavia.

The 111 attack was a strafe and the Damaged BB would withdraw to 112. The YUGO attack would also strafe and move to Romania.

Late 1940 would see a variety of units purchased. Most notably 5 more U-boats, a PG and a Oberst as one of the SS Inf were withheld from the France attack.

Combat would take place in 109 SZ with the sinking of the Royal Navy which had been boosted by a CV and 2 Seafires.

Early 1941 and another mixed build would take place with 3 more U-boats and 3 Fallschirmjäger.
They would attack Greece with 1st SS leading the way from Romania. Army Group South would then form in Romania during NCM.

    USSR
The Soviets began with a heavy Landmine buy, along with Paratroopers and Engineers. They would begin to concentrate in Belarus.

LM’s, Tanks and more Paratroopers, along with another Commisar, would be produced in Late 1940. Belarus would be reinforced and some Far East Units would begin to move West.

Early 41 and Commisar positions would be fully staffed. Caucasus is heavily reinforced.

    Japan
Nippon would build a Factory in Shantung and launch a couple Trprts. Carolines, 36 SZ and the Home Waters would all have Carrier supported Fleets.

Late 40 and another Fctry and Trprt would be built. The existing Fleets would remain stationary and be reinforced. Armor would begin to be produced in the Shantung Fctry.

Early 41 would see max Tank builds in the China Fctrys and a NB constructed in Kwangsi. Chinese Forces would be pushed to their last 3 Western and Northern Provinces.

    USA
The Americans would blowup the PHI NB and fortify the Island. Reinforcements for the Philippines would move offshore of New Guinea. Heavy Naval builds would take place in their Shipyards.

Late 1940 would see continued Naval builds and the PHI reinforced and fortified. The Pacific Fleet would be concentrated in Pearl Harbor. The Atlantic Fleet would receive Heavy reinforcements, including a CV.

Once again, Naval builds would continue in Early 41.

    China
They would try to slow the Japanese as much as possible, but the concerted Japan attacks would leave them only controlling Sikang, Tsinghai and Kansu in Early 1941.

    UK
Britain would repair their BB and purchase a CV and 2 Seafires. The latter would prove to be a mistake, as it would be sunk and the Royal Navy would suffer a major defeat in Late 1940. They would successfully sink the Italian units in 97 and 96 SZs.

In Late 1940 they would move the London Fctry underground and fortify their Pacific Islands. With all German Ftrs out of position due to the attack on the British fleet, the RAF would make a daring strike in 113 SZ and sink both the DD and Trprt there.
The remaining Ships of the Regia Marina in 95 SZ would be sunk.
They would take Custodianship of Celebes.

In Early 1941 minor attacks on Italain troops in Africa would succeed, as well as a small Para drop into Holland. They would suffer major convoy damage from German U-boats losing 8 IPC.

    Italia
Italy buys a Ftr. Combat takes place in Tunisia, Sudan, Yugo and against the Britich CA off Malta. They are victorious in all battles.

Another Ftr is purchased and they take an undefended Algeria in Late 1940.

3 Paras form in Early 41 and Il Duce sends up the balloon, attacking the Soviet Union. Morocco, Algeria and E POL would all fall.

    ANZAC
Early 1940 ANZAC buys 3 Infantry and takes control of Java. Late 1940 Java is reinforced and fortified. Early 41 and Land Units evacuate Queensland and concentrate in New South Wales.

    France
They move their Med Fleet to 91 SZ. Late 1940 and the French Ships sink a U-boat in 106.

    End Early 1941

    Continued on 9-30-25

    Late 1941 - Late 1942

    Germany
The Fuhrer would waste little time attacking the Soviet Union after being upstaged by Mussolini. The initial assaults would primarily target the Southern part of the now Eastern Front.
All of Ukraine, Bessaraibia and Rostov would fall.

An LCV attack launched from S FRA supported by a Strategic Bmbr, would take Gibralter. 1st Waffen would move to Romania and Army Group South would form in E POL where Italian units were already present.

Early 42 would see attacks slow on the E Front. A lightly defended Lenningrad would fall and a small force would successfully counterattack in Rostov.
1st SS would move to E POL to support AG South and 1st Luftflotten would form in W GER.

Late 1942 would see the E Front attacks stall out due to Soviet 1st AG and numerous supporting units concentrated in Bryansk. A SBR would do damage to the Minor Fctry there though.

A heavy U-boat buy would reinforce the Kriegsmarine in 112. This was probably a mistake, as the Wehrmacht would be short of Land Units on the E Front the entire war. It would, however, keep the Allied Fleet off GIB at bay, which the Allies had successfully counterattacked in Late 41.

    USSR
Small counterattacks are made in Eastern Europe. 1st AG forms in Belarus and LMs are armed against the E POL border.

Mass Conscription takes place in Early 1942. A few more small counterattacks take place and 1st AG moves to Bryansk supported by the majority of the Red Army.

Late 42 and Mass Tanks begin to arrive as well as a Ftr Ace. Bryansk continues to harden with massive Inf reinforcements.
They have not been able to dislodge the Germans from Novgorod.

    Japan
    Late 1941
Sensing the Western Allies as vulnerable, they launch an all out attack across the Pacific. The Philippines and Singapore would be the major prizes, with Hong Kong falling as well.
China would be pushed into Tsinghai. Caroline Islands would be fortified.

Early 42 and the British India Fctry would be bombed. Overwhelming Ftr Escort from Yunnan would prevent any Interceptors from engaging.
The last Chinese stronghold in Tsinghai would fall, as well as Borneo, Celebes and DNG.

A new Harbor would be built in the PHIs and Carolines would continue to be fortified. The SW Pacific is dominated by the IJN.

    Late 42
Strong Naval and Armor builds take place. Sumatra and NG are conquered, leaving Java as the only Allied controlled island in the SW Pacific.
They have 3 main Fleets in Sumatra, Philippines and the Home waters. The strongest in the PHI. Large numbers of Armor begin to spread all throughout China.
They are now cash heavy with 83 IPC.

    USA
Late 41 the US would liberate Gibralter. The Pacific Fleet would be anchored at Pearl Harbor.

Early 1942 the Atlantic Fleet would move into the Med and Morocco and Algeria would be taken. The USS Iowa would launch off the West coast.

Late 42 the USN would sail to NG and liberate it. North African forces would move into Tunisia.
Another strong Fleet would launch off the West coast.

All of China would be brutalized by their now Japanese masters.

    UK
Late 1941 the British would build a Fctry in Egypt. Small attacks would take place in Asia, Africa and W EUR.

Early 42 the India Fctry would be repaired and moved underground. The French forces in England would formally join the British Army and Air Force.
Iraq is taken and a small Para landing in Holland succeeds.

Late 1942 HOL once again changes hands. A Italian Para attack on NW Persia is wiped out. Burma continues it’s back and forth.
Land and Air Units move into Caucasus, with the Air designated for Lend Lease.
A CV and a Seafire deploy off Canada.

    Italy
Late 1941 Italian Units in E POL would open the way to Novgorod by taking the Baltic STs. A heavy Para drop would take control of Syria.

Early 42 and fearing an Allied invasion from GIB and N Africa, a Flaktower would be constructed in Rome. NW Persia would fall to the previously mentioned Para attack.
Paratroopers and a LCV in Greece would threaten both the Caucasus and Middle East.

Late 42 Rostov is taken by the forces from Greece with the help of the Bmbr. The remaining African units are evacuated to S Italy.

    ANZAC
    Late 1941
They continue small Naval builds and the fortification of Java. A single DD goes Sub hunting in 57 SZ and both it and the Sub are sunk.

Early 42 and the New South Wales Fctry is upgraded for Hvy Industry. Sub hunting continues, this time with Air support in 42 and the Sub is sunk with no losses.

Late 1942 and the Navy joins the Americans off NG. Java continues to be reinforced as well as maintaining its Air presence.

    France
The French Navy moves to 91 to help protect the American Trprts. They just chill after that.

    End Late 1942

    Early 1943 - Early 1944

    Germany
It is Early 1943 and the 5 Major Powers have all switched their Economies to “Total War” production.

The Reich goes with large Panzer buys, including both Elites and a PG. 5 more U-boats for the Kriegsmarine.
Goring has fallen out of favor with the fuhrer and no Air units are produced, although they do train one Fallschirmjäger.

Minor combats take place with the most notable being the conquest of Archangel. E POL continues to be reinforced and Romania has the E Front Luftwaffe based there, as well as a large number of Fallschirmjäger, including a Waffen Fallschirmjäger.

Another Panzer Army is created in Berlin. 112 SZ now has 15 U-boats.

Late 43 and the Luftwaffe continues to be ignored. 5 more U-boats are produced and Panzers and a PG would all be upgraded to form 1st SS Panzer.

Caucasus would be attacked with all German Paras, as well as a unloaded LCV. Luftwaffe would send all Air within range.
The LCV would successfully navigate the LMs but the British Forces now defending Caucasus, would stand firm and defeat the German attack, despite heavy losses.

3rd SS would form in Romania to protect German Air. 1st SS would move to Novgorod and AG South would reform in E POL with 1st SS Panzer now active.

Early 1944 and the Reich takes control of Italia. A logistic problem prevented them from doing so in Late 43.
Still no Luftwaffe builds but Total War Panzers and Mechs are produced. The first Type XXI will launch into 112.

A lightly defended Middle East would see Iraq, Jordan and Persia all fall. The Italian Para, now German, taking Persia. Stalingrad would also fall to a SS Fallschirmjäger and 1st Luftflotten would help repel the small Allied attack in Normandy.

Major combat would take place in UKR with 2nd Luftflotten, which had formed in S Italy, and 3rd SS leading the way. Soviet 3rd Corps and their supporting units would be destroyed but inflict heavy casualties on the German attack with a loss of a Ftr and only the Oberst as the surviving land unit.

German Units would also land in Tobruk to try and deny the Soviets another Axis TTy. AG South would move to Romania due to the massive Russian Forces in Belarus.

Novgorod Forces would withdraw with 1st SS going to Finland.
The Allied Fleet in 92 SZ, predominately American, would be blocked in the Med by German Escorts.

There are 19 U-boats in 112 which includes one Type XXI.

    USSR

Getting a little carried away here lol. I’ll try and shorten this up :) Some big battles coming up that I want to detail though, so, :)

    Continued on 10-1-25

The Soviets would make Total War Tank buys along with a second TG. They would greedily transfer the UK planes to Soviet control. They would prove decisive in the Rostov counterattack led by 3rd Corps.

Late 43 Tank builds continue. The UK has sent 3 Tanks via LL and they will be converted. Belarus is taken in force. All of UKR is liberated, with 3rd Corps now in UKR with Inf support.
A Mech from Sudan would take Italian Somalia.

    Early 1944
Lenningrad and Stalingrad would be liberated. The 3 Fallschirmjäger in Rostov would be left for British Forces to destroy.

    Japan
Early 43 and the IJN would take on the USN in an epic battle in 46 SZ off NG. Landbased Air from Caroline Islands and the PHIs, along with shuttling CV air form 6 SZ would give JPN the edge going into the battle.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-01 12-51-05.png

    Note
The Trprts will skew the Battle calc, as triplea will take them first as casualties.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-01 12-52-34.png

The Americans would punch above their weight but still be defeated.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-01 12-56-18.png

Japan would reposition it’s Forces with the Fleet off Sumatra moving to the Kwangsi Harbor, reinforcing the units stationed off the PHIs and launching new builds, including a Heavy CV and Total War Naval Ftrs, in 6 SZ.
The Americans would retain strong Forces off both HI and their West Coast.

    Late 1943
JPN would invade Java to complete the DEI takeover. It would come at a Enormous price.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-01 13-20-40.png

    Note
The Fortifications were removed along with their Inf and replaced with Tanks to get the correct Battle Calc.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-01 13-20-30.png

    Screenshot from 2025-10-01 13-24-56.png

The Yamato would launch and a strong Armor presence with 16 Tanks and 3 Mechs in Kweichow would provide the Army flexibility in China.

    Early 44
After the loss of their Strat Bmbrs in the Java invasion, they would invest in a Total War build of 4 Strat Bmbrs.
The Java Fleet would be heavily reinforced to counter the Americans in 54, while the PHIs would use blockers to prevent an engagement.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-01 13-34-19.png

    USA
In Early 1943, after the defeat by the IJN off of NG, the damaged Japanese BB in 46 would be sunk and a major Naval buy would launch off the West Coast led by a Hvy CV.

Strong Naval and Total War Air builds would continue in Late 43. The Iowa’s sister ship, Missouri, would be launched.
The main Atlantic Fleet would remain in 92 in the Med, while 104 would continue to be traded with the Kriegsmarine to block them from the lighter defended Trprts in 91 off GIB.

The Fleet in Hawaii would sail to Queensland and be replaced by the new construction from San Diego.

    Early 1944
Admiral King would give the go ahead to attack S FRA. While easily successful, I think a Normandy landing would have proven the better move.

The Allies could concentrate all their Naval power in 110, as well as having land based Ftrs able to scramble to their defense from the large German Fleet in 112. Especially if England upgraded their AB for the 1st US Air Fleet to scramble 4 planes.
Reinforcing or counterattacking Normandy would also be easier.

The Pacific Fleet would once again concentrate in NG. B-29s would start to come off the assembly lines.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-01 16-00-49.png

    Screenshot from 2025-10-01 16-01-41.png

    UK
Early 43 and the UK would make two small attacks. One in Asia and the other in W EUR. 3 LL Tanks move to Caucasus.

Late 1943 and similar small battles would continue. A strong Force moves into Caucasus. The first Heavy Bmbr would enter service.

Early 44 would see a Total War Ftr buy. The German Units in Iraq and Persia, as well as Tobruk from the Italian Takeover, would be eliminated.
The forgotten Battle of Rostov would take place in edit and succeed.

    ANZAC
They would build a CV in Early 43 as well as a Escort. Army units with Air support would kill the JPN Elite Inf in DNG.

Late 43 would see them make a all Air attack to sink a JPN DD off of Carolines. Two of the Ftrs would land on the CV in 54 and the other two would RTB to NG.

Early 44 and Air attacks against JPN blockers would continue, only this time with the loss of a Ftr off Paulau. Their Ships would join the Americans in 46.

    France
Their ships hang with the Allied Fleet. An unknown communist sympathizer in command of the Egyptian Inf makes a backdoor deal to send them to Belarus to support the Red Army. Rumor has it he was knifed by a British Desert Rat in a Cairo bar.

In Late 44 their Ships would move to 104 to practice maneuvers

    End Early 1944

    Update on 10-4-25

    Late 1944 - Late 1945

    Germany
The Reich would focus their build on Total War mobile units. Small attacks would take place on the E Front as well as 2nd Luftflotten supporting a SS Para attack on Caucasus against 2 French Inf.

The Frenchmen would do their defeated country proud and score 2 hits. Germany would choose to lose two Ftrs and take the TTy.
U-boats in S Italy would suicide into 93 against the main Allied Fleet in order to use their attack value. The fisrt Type XXI would sink a UK Escort in 110 and then withdraw to 112.

A Major battle would take place in S FRA.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-04 12-50-04.png

The Allied landing would be defeated with massive Luftwaffe Units leading the way, spearheaded by 1st Luftflotten as well as Strat Bmbrs from Romania.

Early 45 and the major land buys would continue. Small UK attacks in Normandy and HOL would successfully be counterattacked.
Most importantly the Wehrmacht would once again take control of Novgorod after a major battle against strong Soviet Forces, which included 3rd Corps as well as 5 Tanks.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-04 13-09-44.png

1st SS and 1st Luftflotten would lead the way, with 2 SS Fallschirmjäger being the sole land units left.

4th SS would form in W GER and 2nd Panzer in POL.

    Late 1945
Bryansk and Rostov would be taken. However they would not be able to regain control of Novgorod after being pushed out during Soviet Early 45.
AG South would move to UKR and AG Center would form in POL.

    USSR
Late 1944 would see continued Tank buys and small counterattacks on the E Front.

Early 45 and Stalin would at no cost declare war on JPN. A small attack into Northern China would fail. As previously mentioned, they would liberate Lenningrad.

Late 1945 and skirmishes would continue on the E Front and now in Kazakhstan with the Japanese.

1st AG along with 2nd Tank and the majority of the Red Army would be in Belarus. Novosibirsk would have strong Forces as well as Amur keeping JPN in check.

The Allies would suffer an Enormous defeat.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-04 15-11-38.png

Early 45 Amur and Guadalcanal would be taken as well as SFE and Siberia to LCV landings.

Late 1945 and they would take Sakha and Timguska. Kweichow would have a huge concentration of Armor, Mech and Air.

    USA
Late 44 the Americans would go with heavy Total War buys and Capital Ships. They would sink the Wolfpack in 109. The S FRA invasion Fleet would move out of the Med and back into the Atlantic in 91.

    Early 45
Small attacks would take place as they continue to replenish their losses from the 2nd Battle of the New Guinea Sea Zone :) Idk what else to call it :) Coral Sea didn’t seem quite right :)

The Med Fleet remains in 95 off of Italy. The Atlantic Fleet in 91 with multiple Trprts.

    Late 1945
The Pacific Fleet would be reconstituted once again after the New Guinea SZ defeat with 2 Iowa class BBS and a Hvy CV in Pearl with support Ships and another TF headed by a Hvy CV off San Diego.

    Update on 10-5-25

    UK
Britain would bomb the Fctry in France and make another small landing in HOL. Caucasus would see them move a moderate Force in, while in Burma they would send the entire Indian Army.

In Early 45 they would hit Normandy with a slightly larger attack supported by 2 Hvy Bmbrs. A small attack in Yunnan would block the JPN concentration in Kweichow.
    Caucasus would be reinforced.

Late 45 and they would switch back to attacking Holland. However, they didn’t send enough Paras and would be unable to take it despite heavy Air support.
They would trade Yunnan again and the Caucasus units would liberate Rostov.

    ANZAC
Late 44 they would send a Escort to sink the lone JPN Trprt off of Java but would be they themselves that are sunk. They fortify the Homeland concerned about a Japanese invasion.

Early 45 would see NSW and Queensland continued to be fortified.

Late 45 and the Army and Air Force is concentrated in Queensland.

    France
The French Ships hang with the two Allied Fleets while the two closet communists in Belarus have been destroyed by the Reich.

    End Late 1945

    Early 1946 - Early 1947

    Germany
The Reich would continue with Panzer and Mech Total War buys.
An undefended Stalingrad would fall to a SS Para from ROM.
Signifigant combat would take place in Bryansk as Panzers and Strat Bmbrs would clash against Soviet 3rd Corps and Guard Infantry. Both sides would suffer heavy losses but the Wehrmacht would prevail.

Army Group South would disband but 1st SS Panzer and 1st Panzer would still occupy UKR. 2nd SS would form in ROM and AG Center would remain in POL.

Late 46 would see the Battle in Bryansk continue. A strongly defended Lenningrad would once again see SS Paras and large Luftwaffe Forces attack. They would also suffer heavy losses again, including a Ftr and Tac but a sole SS Para would take control.

1st Panzer would be victorious in Bryansk but all of their supporting units would be lost. 2nd SS joins 1st SS Panzer in UKR.

    Early 1947
Bryansk and Baltic STs would continue to be fought over as well as Normandy and HOL. A new American landing in N Italy would face counterattack. Lenningrad would prove too strong to engage with 2nd Tank now in control.
The Kriegsmarine would attack into 104 in force. They would also convoy 109 and 119.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-05 10-49-28.png

    Their attacks would succeed.

    Last Update on 10-6-25

    USSR
Early 1946 and the Soviets would continue Total War Tank buys, as well as Grd Inf. A variety of combats would take place across the European and Asian Fronts, with the heaviest taking place in Bryansk and Baltic STs.
    All would succeed.

The Red Army would remain concentrated in Belarus not falling into a potential enfiladed attack by Germany in E POL. They could have sent a small force with access to an Artillery unit in 1st AG being available but perhaps the Elite made them choose otherwise.

Their positions in Eastern and Central Asia remain strong. UK has taken over defense of Cauacasus.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-06 14-30-00.png

    Late 1946
The war of attrition continues on their European Front. A dissapointing defeat is suffered in Bryansk as 1st Panzer holds.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-06 14-34-25.png

Early 1947 and Major combat would take place in Bryansk once again but the Soviets would bring overwhelming firepower and destroy a Waffen Panzer supported SS Army.
    E POL would also fall.
Far East troops would slowly withdraw from a major Japanese advance.

Although threatened, they would be in a strong defensive position, as well as able to continue potential offensive moves in Europe.

    Japan
Early 1946 would see small combats in Asia with the counterattack in Yunnan the most important. The Chines Fctrys would move underground do to fear of American B-29 strikes.
The Navy would reinforce to keep the Americans at bay.

    Late 1946
More small combats with the Kweichow Army moving to Shensi in force and the Manchuko Army into Amur.

    Early 1947
Small counterattacks would take place in Northern China as well as a skirmish in the Pacific. The Shensi Army would reverse course and move to Yunnan with a large number of Air units.

The Manchuko Army is now in Buryatia facing off against a equal Force of Soviets in Yakut.
Naval Units would concentrate in the Philippines, with blockers shielding them from yet another large American fleet off of NG.

    USA
Early 1946 and heavy Naval and Air buys would take place. Skirmishes in the Atlantic and Pacific would be the extent of combat.
The Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor would sail to Queensland.

    Late 1946
The Atlantic Fleet would move into 95 to threaten Italy. The Pacific Fleet to 46 off of NG.

    Early 1947
A desperate attack against S Italy would take place.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-06 15-21-31.png

    The Americans would be defeated.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-06 15-22-30.png

Another major battle would take place in Carolines

    Screenshot from 2025-10-06 15-26-00.png

    It would succeed.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-06 15-27-06.png

    UK
    Early 1946
Small attacks in W EUR would take place as well as in Yunnan, although it would fail due to lack of ground support.

    Late 1946
The trading of Normandy and HOL would continue and they would support the Americans in 95 by taking Sardinia.
They would move the entire Indian Army into Burma.

    Early 1947
The RAF would sink the German surface Ships in 104 with the loss of a single RAF Ftr resulting in a major victory.

The British Indian Army and the Japanese would finally clash in Yunnan in an epic battle.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-06 15-48-17.png

The British and their Allies would be defeated.

I think the British Commander became frustrated and continued the attack when he should have accepted the loss and saved his Air Units. A terrible final roll would make their sacrifice mostly in vain.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-06 15-52-34.png

With back to back major defeats in S Italy and Yunnan, Allied morale would suffer greatly and they would sue for peace.

    End UK Early 1947

    Conclusion

The Axis probably went a little too heavy on U-boats at the expense of the Wehrmacht. Not being able to control or contest the Middle East was a big problem as well.

Nippon had a mostly strong game, with the two big Naval battles and the final Yunnan battle going their way helping a great deal.

I feel the Allies were still in a strong position. They were leading Economically, as well as in total unit count. My guess is the two major defeats in S Italy and Yunnan, as well as the two Naval battles lost off of New Guinea, which they recovered nicely from, broke their will.

At any rate, it was another Fun game with Trout. @Trout please share your comments as well :)

    Peace

Continuation of Multi Game 1 Report

    https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/37723/global-1940-1943-expansions-game-reports/730?page=30

Well I just got burned on America’s 30 min turn report, so take a bit to get back into it :)

Uncle Sam would go with a heavy Army buy, as well as a AB for Espana.
Strat Bmbrs would do 17 Damage to the N Italy Fctry. No Interceptors would rise to challenge the 5 Ftr Escorts and the AA Guns would all miss their targets.

Small battles would take place across W EUR and the Pacific. US Naval Forces would be concentrated in 110. Large numbers of Army Air Corps would be based in Spain.
The Java TF would move to 39 off India, with major Air assets landing in India.

The Hawaiian JPN DD would be sunk but the Islands remain under JPN control. TF 7 splits, with the majority going to 3 SZ off Kamchatka, the others to the Canadian West Coast.

There are 9 Trprts in 101 off the East Coast.

China continues to struggle for Freedom. Their resolve remains strong.

Well the above isn’t as good as what I wrote earlier but whatever lol

UK buys 2 Trprts and some Army. They save 20 bucks.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-18 22-02-04.png

Then 20 is deleted. I’m not sure why.

    Screenshot from 2025-10-18 22-03-30.png

I will have to check the game thread as this makes no sense to me.

OK. It was for the India Fctry. I didn’t realize Victory was still with us at this point :)

    Screenshot from 2025-10-18 22-09-31.png

Major combat takes place in Greece

    Screenshot from 2025-10-19 01-08-48.png

    Screenshot from 2025-10-19 01-09-06.png

The Reich would prevail in a close fought battle. HOL and Iraq battles would see the British victorious. The Indian Army would once again move into Burma in Force.

UK would reinforce the Russians in Turkey and produce Tanks out of their Egypt Fctry.

Italians are looking forward to their arrival in US prison camps.

ANZC would produce Ships for their Navy and give battle to the JPN Escort and Trprt off Celebes with a SS and Air attack. The attack would succeed but with heavy losses. A lone Ftr would be left after the intense combat.

Their Aircraft Carriers would join the Americans in 39, with another supporting US Ships off Johnston Island.
