From my house rules, United Kingdom section:

2. United Kingdom (Europe) can transfer the IPCs it collects for the territories of Persia, Iraq, Trans-Jordan and Syria to United Kingdom (Pacific) under the following conditions:
• United Kingdom (Europe) must control the territories of which the IPCs are transferred.
• United Kingdom (Pacific) must control India (Calcutta).
• There must be uninterrupted Allied control tracked west from West India towards all the territories of which the IPCs are transferred.
• The following transfers of IPCs are allowed: Persia, Persia & Iraq, Persia & Iraq & either or both of Trans-Jordan and Syria.

Yea thats where i started using a timer, The CD-Rom had it right. The low tech way is to buy an sand timer for like $1.50 that has a 3-4 minute sand reservoir. Of course i got plenty of Chess clocks of all types as well.

The reduced values are realistic because the target is a fast moving plane and not a slow moving tank.

My point is: if you don’t dominate the skies, then you can’t loiter around doing the damage required to neutralize a dug-in infantry division, for example.

IMO, there should be some decrease in fighter lethality if enemy fighters remain in the battlespace.

No way am I opening that can of worms again!!!  :-)

AARHE didn’t have fuel. AARHE 1939 map had though.
