I’m quite impressed by your setup by the way. I don’t think my head was fully into the game for the Italy/Germany turns and I was a bit sloppy. But your allies allies are setup very well on both sides.

Thank you! As I recall I had great dice on the Italian fleet and then the Germans had to clean up and lost 2 planes.
I hope the break didn’t disadvantage you.
I need to point out what someone else pointed out to me years ago - page 16 of the 2nd edition Europe rulebook says the combat sequence is
- Strat and tactical bombing raids
- Amphibious assaults
- General combat
That means every amphibious assault must be done before other battles. Usually it doesn’t really make a difference, but there are scenarios where not following this sequence gives the attacker an advantage - I of course always follow this sequence since somebody caught me doing it - thanks! You can tell others now ;)
