Two very minor problems with the map

The US has captured Norway, and then the next turn placed a factory. Is it legal for the US to deploy ships into seazone 113, which is inside of the Danish straight? You are correct. Since the ship is being built it does not have to pass through any strait. A minor factory in Norway may build up to 3 ships per Turn in either SZ126, SZ125, SZ112 or SZ113 or any combination thereof.

I’m guessing you mean digitally ? So you can look at a picture instead of setting up the physical board ?

If so, triplea would probably be your best bet as the pics I’ve seen in the past are kinda hard to see detail unless you have multiple pics.

You can’t see the whole map in detail on triplea either, but probably more efficient.

Or do you mean like a print of the physical board ? Like a big poster or map you can roll out ?

A lot of times what usually breaks the Allies is how poor US reacts to what side of the world to fight on.

Its not originally occupied, its original owner.  (Kiangsu and manchuria cant have majors cause japan is not the owner.)

I printed mine as a poster, and then I laminated it with mat-lam (low glare). I than stapeled vinyl material to a sheet of plywood and than used a spray adhesive to stick the laminated poster onto the vinyl (to prevent lifting air pockets).

Thanks!  I’ll give this a go…. although having just investigated the price of having a large copy printed off, I may have to save for a while.

Also, try to make Z109 and 118 touch each other at more than a corner.

I used a really dark blue for the Pro-Allied, so there isn’t any confusion with the French pieces. Red seemed to fit the Axis.

Has anyone else noticed that on their boards the shade of blue in the ocean is different on the section that includes South Africa?  The other three boards are all the same shade.  It’s not a big deal, but it does drive me a bit crazy.  I have two set’s, and this is a problem on both of them.

Yes, it’s that way on mine too.  But if you scrutinize the water all over all the boards, there are a lot of different shades, and some of them appear intentional.  What bugs me is how the US doesn’t line up with itself.  Sometimes I like to set up the boards so that the US is all intact, so it’s easier to see the action there.  The break between Europe and Pacific seems to be a good place to have on the edges, as an alternative.  But the USA is nowhere near lining up on the side of the board.  :x

I see there are only 2 seazones between West Africa and South America still……  Kinda weird, considering there are 5 zones between Sumatra and Africa, but whatever…
