UK set the stage for Arab attack on Meso in force, by taking Hejaz and Al-D, safeguarding Mecca. Round 2 was lopsided my favor, but I would have won anyway with normal dice. I’ve never had T on the ropes like this before. You continued putting units into Mace instead of moving new units east. And didn’t build cav for mobility. Took a while to figure Italy’s turn, with pre-planning where all 4 allies would go to defend Pied and Tusc. Italy had hardly any troops left after taking Venice last turn.
Allied fleets in Med are still jinxed. Second time that F lost a sea battle despite good odds. Lucky Italy could reinforce. F attack on Alsace was just intended to weaken with one round, killing more than I lost. But I rolled 0-8 and you rolled 3-5. Luckily, Champ will still hold. Sometimes those cute actions aren’t worth the risk. Also never had USA reinforce R so early in the game.
