I too, learned this lesson the hard way. Neither you or I will ever make that mistake again and to an extent it is a nice trap. Consider it a hard learned lesson as I did.
This is why I didn’t worry about leaving the ITA ships off GIB, you didn’t have a safe place to land the aircraft.

in fact, in G40, the allied aircraft becomes axis, so i thought I was going to get all those planes!

I actually assumed you understood the Vichy mechanics. I thought my ITA navy was safe. losing those trans does set me back quite a bit. would have been happier if the axis were awarded those planes. Adam and regular guy must have changed those rules for PtV.
