Thanks! Saves me ineptly trying to finish off the Imperial Japanese Navy…
I’ve had the economics on my side for a long time, but struggled to put those IPCs to good effect. Continually losing US fleets in the Pacific was a big problem. I’m proud of my Russia play though, I think keeping Germans stuck on the Eastern front gave me the time to eventually get the (third!) invasion of Europe to stick.
It was a long game but it didn’t get boring for me, I very much enjoyed the challenge. I’m more than happy to rematch, same bid, different sides. I’ll set up the new topic and game when I get a moment.
@flyingbadger Agree, this was a fun (somewhat stressful) game. We’ll see if I can turn it around in the next one ;)
