I was wondering if anyone had a copy of the rules (and if separate from the rule book, the setup as well) for East & West, War in 1948? I recently purchased a copy that is complete, except for the rules and the starting setup. I can send pictures if someone wishes to confirm my purchase.

It sucks being this close and yet so far away from trying this game out.

Now have 2 sets of rules with optional rules.

Standard rules use a more Axis & Allies turn based system.

In standard rules, all Axis move first simultaneously, followed by Allies.  That would encompass 1 entire season (4 seasons to a year).

Defender withdrawing still allowed, but can no longer move units into space the attacker is attacking (except for air units).

No more initiative in standard rules.

Yes I am And I have a copy of the same book  I have a basic American list and German List, I am currently working on the Japs, right now they and the British will probably have the most flexibility.  Has anyone actually tried to play this yet? just wondering

I had IB before it was officialy released in stores. I don’t want to upset you anyway, but it is a load of bugs, and virtualy un-playable online.
This was one of the typical scams by hasbro before they went belly-up.
