If the dice had been true, the gamble and sacrifice would have been worth it. I have not had good outcomes as the Germans taking on battles in SZ 109, 113, AND 114 in conjunction with attacks on N-B and France. Stretching the German airpower, especially, so thin can result in unrecoverable losses. But such are the (mis-)fortunates of war.

True. It was perhaps worth a shot.
z109 is a crap shoot with sub against des.
The odds were about 95 % for both z113 and z114 with full scrambles.
Most important with the strategy is to seriously cripple the Luftwaffe and to achieve that must carry clearly better odds.

UK DOWed on J. Did an attack on FIC, which was cancelled. Is the DOW intentional? Still active?
If not, we need to correct income for UK-Pac and soon ANZAC.
If it is, I’d like to land the italian fig somewhere else than in Gibraltar.
Didn’t know about the DOW until I just now looked at the MARTI. Thought the FIC-battle was strange.
Figured Japan would attack in Round 3 any way. So UK and ANZAC declared war to get NOs.
The attack on FIC was a mistake because it would have exposed the aircraft to destruction. (Overlooked the the 3 fighters and 3 tacs in SZ 44.)
Edited out the FIC victory before IPCs were tallied, so the total for UK-Pac should be okay. The NOs should be included in the tally.
