Does the Global War 1936-1945 board game (third edition) actually exist? How can I buy one?

If you read the top of page 11 you will see there is a new rule for V3 where you cannot combat move through a canal as you proposed. The example they give is exactly what you were talking about. You can still choose to do it the old way but either way that is one of the things you should have all of the players to agree to before the game begins. We always play it the new way.

GW is a 3 player game. Naturally everything is broken if you make it a two player game without severe adjustments.

@noneshallpass You are correct. A Strategic Bomber has no ability to attack a ship in any way, shape, or form in the game so it is obviously impossible to use them on MAP. MAP is a combat move and you can’t make a combat move if you have no ability to conduct combat.

No worries I agree with you that it’s better to know now than 6 months from now when everything is printed and distributed to the whole community. It’s a stressful time for the rules people trying to put the finishing touches on the game, especially with all that’s going on in the world around us. We all have lives outside of the game that have been disrupted and most of us have been quarantined in our homes but we are all doing our best. Thanks for helping us out not only with that but with all of the other helpful suggestions. I take everything I read from these forums plus comments on my channel and pass them along to help make it a better game. In the end it will be a game that was created with the help of the whole community. We can all take a bit of the credit for the end product.
