Yes, its a battle that go either way. Yesterday I did the same vs a Italian player and he really got his ass kicked there :) He didnt appreciate it very much, but I consider that a better purpose for my french fighter then staying in Paris and fight a lost battle.

@cds It’s legit and could have been anticipated, if you lose out to it then just have to use it as a motivator. Getting annoyed will only lead to future problems.
I haven’t forgotten this game. Loaded up Japan and then realised I need to have a proper look at the map before I make a move. The sea zone island thing is tricky for me to get my head around, but I need to learn it.

I shall have a go later today.Seemed okay as Germany but played Japan horribly in the first game, was in retreat by round 4!
Lost a couple of big US fleets as Allies in other games too, but seem to make up for it in other theatres (or just US economic power).
Need to get a better feel for the Pacific (both maps) as I seem to get fleets exposed or trapped very easily. Still, only way to get better is to try it and then learn form the experience.

I dont know what is wrong, but cant place the inbetween file after combat movement/combat.
But what I want to know is if you want to scramble from sz115 into sz113. I have a cruiser and fighter supporting a amphibious assault in Normandy. You can scramble with either a fighter or a tactical.

That’s fair. The sub rolled a hit, so the remiaining ship was hit. If the destroyer rolls a 1 or 2 then I’d have taken the sub as the casualty and that battle would have been over. I’d suggest do a dice roll in TripleA, if it is a 1 or 2 then edit out the sub. If it is a 7 then add an Italian carrier :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: .
