Why can't my tanks move into Ukraine?

After buying this yesterday, and it was working perfectly, today it won’t open. Do I need a patch?

@bratcher You must right click the transport, then right click the units you want to load, then right click the sea zone you want the transports to move to, then right click the territory you want to unload units into. Hope it works for you.

Or let’s say Russia wants to attack the Ukraine stack on Round 2. They are looking at 16% chance to capture. 21% with sacrificing fighters.

But if Germany does not drop the extra infantry and AA gun via Med transport then its odds are 43%

I will let you think about if there is a better course of action here.

8 infantry build round one with Russia? 4 infantry 3 Artillery? UK does not drop fleet and sends fighters? US sends its fighters to West Russia?

These things could reduce Germanys odds on West Russia enough perhaps that Germany does not attack, but I do not think they can be reduced enough for Russia to capture Karelia without giving too strong of odds on West Russia.

The 3 tank build is a contingency against Russia Karelia stack somewhat.

I have seen players stack Karelia and Belarus thus blocking the tanks in Ukraine from counter attack, but 7 tanks from Poland and Berlin makes such a move risky as well, although Germany will lose higher TUV in this battle due to not much infantry shield. Usually 2 infantry from Finland and one from Baltic is all that is available for that counter, and maybe this is the way for Russia.

But such a move then opens up G2 Caucus stack with Japans fighters landing on.

I find this new thing which is steadily increasing…which is i open the list of potential games in multiplayer ( not ranked) and lets say the list shows 6 games…I can only enter 2 of them, the other 4 are “blocked in a sense” you click and nothing happens…is their some new thing we need to do like update the game? And i cant believe for a second that only 6 games in total around the earth are being played…what gives?

Gonna file the two glitches I found in two separate threads.

First, the QoL changes and addition of ranked mode have breathed new life into this game for me. Thanks a ton for implementing both.

Anyway, this glitch is something I call “Phantom Fighter Move”. Allow me to explain:

Scenario: I have two separate stacks of German Fighters. One in Karelia, the other in Germany. During Combat Move Phase I move both of them to attack Caucasus (2 moves away from Karelia, 3 moves away from Germany).

Battle Occurs, all of my air units survive.

NCM Phase: I should only be able to move my Fighters that started in Germany one more space, and my Fighters that started in Karelia two more spaces. If I individually make my moves, this will work as intended. After I’ve individually moved each of my Fighters with two moves left, I will only be able to move the remaining Fighters one space.

However, if I use the new “SHIFT+CLICK” feature to move the entire Fighter Stack at once, the glitch comes into play.

For whatever reason, SHIFT+CLICK"-ing the Fighter Stack in Ukraine lets me move all of them 2 spaces, even though some of them should not be able to move that far. This trick allows for illegal Fighter Movement that is earth-shatteringly overpowered in arenas like the Pacific, where fleet positioning is entirely based on the limited air range of opposing FTRs/Bombers.

NOTE: I do not know if this occurs for Bombers as well as Fighters. I have not tried it because building additional Bombers is usually poor play and I am only playing Ranked Games at the moment.

If this bug is not reproducible on your end, it may have just been a one-time thing for me. Sorry for the false alarm if that’s the case.

Not a huge bug, but a bug nonetheless.

If I have multiple choices for movement into battle, I should be allow to chose my path. The reason being that I might want to retreat into a different territory than the one that the software has automatically chosen for me.
