You are really focussed on Asia with Russia :)
Couple of things I want to share with you:
Exception on .1 is when US has taken Korea and it expects Russia to fortify it against a Japanese counterattack.
Eception on .2 is when you have the situation in Europe under control, you can send additional units to Asia. The exception regards the planes, not the airbase.
@cds are you suggesting I don’t have the situation in Europe under control… :upside_down_face: maybe I’ve set up an amazing trap!

I should perhaps not run my mouth to soon, seeing I just started playing PtV and havent really figured it all out myself either ;) I cant say I am a expert, I just talk about what pulls my attention… A airbase is definitely something that gets my attention… :)
I dont say the situation in Europe is bad, but spending resources in the far east is not something I would do at this moment… I liked the purchase of a sub there, it can run havoc if Japan makes a mistake somewhere on the board, with unprotected transports… Besides that it hasnt got much use, because the order of play is not in favor of the Allies…

In this game I dont venture too far into Chinese mainland, because of the Chinese guerilla… My focus is mostly on gaining control over the sea and taking out either UK PAC or ANZ… I dont feel that CHI is a real treath in this game, because they cant (with a few exceptions) leave their own borders… Plus I can easily keep them at bay because when they approach the coast I can retaliate easy from sea and have air support coverage over that part of the map…
What does OOB mean? I see this at G40 games you are playing…
@cds I think it stands for Out Of the Box (aka standard aka vanilla) so no mods, but could be wrong.
