Only had 1/3 chance of getting a tech and 1/3 chance of getting creeping barrage. So gas will have to do. It’s fast and powerful, but only fires once and against Russia, it means I only kill conscripts defending at one. So the choice is build art that take a long time to reach the target; and meanwhile defender builds HGs and trenches; or use up all my cash to build gas and kill conscripts, and hope my inf/art destroy the trenches before the HGs kill me. Unfortunately, I have few conscripts left to take the hits, and new ones take too long to reach the target.

Intended to build another trench in Shang on Germ’s turn but forgot. Was hopeless anyway, being outnumbered by both Brits and French and unable to build HGs. However, in my first game with Dawg, dice wildly favored me and he continued to attack until his troops were gone and Germany walked unopposed into the rest of Shang.

Aggressive USA moves. So ends the Kaiser’s hopes for an Empire in the Americas. In my game with Dawg, I had UK and France take the Atlantic isles and will let UK take the less defended Mexican territories, figuring they can better use the cash than the USA.

I will delete the USA gas that should have self-destructed in Mexico. And add back your infantry that should not have been hit because of gas first strike.

I concede the game. I couldn’t hit and UK couldn’t miss. Germ -2, Brit +8. Belgium & England were only slightly favorable, but couldn’t defend both Alsace & Rhine. So wiping out Brits in both places was best chance. But if battle went against me, retreating survivors were doomed. Lost every battle except my whole fleet vs a sole DD, and the DD hit. Let’s just trade sides and no bid like the first game. If I had continued, I would have retreated fighters to Alsace and not moved stormtroopers into Rhine.

Another reason to end this game is the computer glitch that didn’t recognize first strike for gas, subs or bombardment. The other 1914 game that I started before this one, works fine.

Engine 2.5.22294 map version 1.4.1. The German wants the Brit/Italian to play Germany? Trying to think of a catchy name for our game, using our citizenship, but the 2 Brits are on opposite sides. And Witt has two backgrounds.
