Definitely an overwhelming position in Austria, so must be correct to attack. And it was extremely successful. Must be within the <0,1 % range since G even didn’t have to sacrifice any air and even kept 12 tanks.

When I play Axis, especially J has to sacrifice trannies here and there. Haven’t noticed anything suspect there in our game.
The shift of 2 inf from Berlin to Leningrad seemed logical, so I didn’t think it was a mistake. With 2 less inf R would’ve had positive odds on Leningrad and the attack would’ve come there instead, so I actually didn’t consider that to be a mistake at all, but rather a sacrifice to keep a more valuable objective.
Also, the 4 air didn’t hit anything else and help grab land around Leningrad.
Perhaps you were simply unnecessarily annoyed?

With the US posed to take back Australia and Germany struggling to hold onto its territory, I am seriously considering worth it is worth the time and energy to continue.
Rematch? You can have the Axis, but another current opponent 666 (Jim Walsh), who thought the Axis should have +15 in PTV, now has concluded they need no bonus. If Axis are in the hands of a capable player, such as yourself, I am inclined to agree with Jim.
It looks very dark for Axis, so resigning is not irrational. Japan has not much power left to contest the combined forces of US/Ch/UK/R, and especially the Pac is permanently lost to US/UK-domination.
Italy is relatively the strongest nation as Germany is on a quick decline. It’s just a matter of time until Russia breaks down the Berlin walls.
I don’t mind continuing though, if you prefer that.
In a new game I’d like to play Axis, but with the most recent map and rules. A bidless game is not so interesting, since I’m very sure Axis is at a disadvantage in P2V.
As a good example I’m playing my friend Pejon88 atm and I agreed upon +4 for Axis. He’s a very competent player. Despite a great opening for J, I’m in serious trouble already by round 6, with primarily G not being able to make significant progress on the eastern front.
I’d say that something between 6-12 for Axis is decent.
I tremble but would be willing to give the Axis + 6.

In my experience removal of the old map needs to be done manually. The map-files are usually found in the C: user-directory and may simply be deleted. Then install the map in the client from scratch. Won’t work for some reason to update directly in the client.
I may just keep the old map until I finish another PTV game based on the old map. I will keep a picture of new map up on my screen as a reminder of the change.
