  • That was close. You had 80% chance of taking Khab. Dice were on track at first, but my aim improved on the 3rd and 4th rounds. I saw the marti’s with only 1 hit on round 1. But then you rolled 1’s for your weak units, and I was rolling 2’s. I thought I was a goner, but forgot that my trenches hit. Didn’t want to abandon French last turn, so moved in and built trenches. But knew I would lose if you went in with most of your army this turn. So abandoned French. Not just losing more units, but losing your entire cavalry ends your ability to project a threat westward and NE, helps me substantially. Pleasantly surprised that Brit move to Kory caused you to divert units to the NE.

  • I would have saved many troops if gas had gotten one more hit. That last defender, with protection from 6 trenches, held out against my green troops, who missed a lot until the last round.
