@the_good_captain Good game! I accept the concession. Went pretty quick all of a sudden with a few big battles.
My western axis colleague deserves the honors in this one. He sacrificed himself to let me swoop in in an ongoing battle and kept Moscow stacked.
I haven’t really seen the Chinghai block before in this game. Did we make it to the youtube analysis yet? ;) I don’t know how you and my team mate(s) are feeling about this one, since I, again, had considerably less turns to play, but I’m up for another rematch.
@hansworst of course I’ll give you guys a shout out in the YouTube videos. Our two games have been particularly enlightening to me bc of how you all use(d) German bombers. I have played a great many games in the recent year for AnA '41 and that strategy is different and has solidified my opinion on the last optional rule I was undecided on.
It has become somewhat painfully obvious to me that “Escorts and Interceptors” must be enabled. If not, the game is nearly broken in favor of the allies when the USA spams bombers and blows out German and Italian industry (this I have done in a live game just before our games together). If the USA decides not to do this, the buck apparently passes to Germany. I have quite a bit more to say about that but I’ll save it for the video. All this to say, I’m down for a rematch on the condition we apply the escorts/interceptors. Here is a recent discussion I had on the matter in this forum:

I have to say that I started this game with the previous one in mind, where the UK goes full middle east and builds two factories. As Japan, the triangle Cairo/India/Caucasus was awfully frustrating, as I didn’t feel I could break through it a quick enough manner.
Therefore I decided to take Cairo in G1, and to then keep the pressure on Caucasus, hoping to give Japan some easier access to the middle east. I was convinced that the way I played G1 would force you to change you tactics. Count me impressed that you not only went through with it, but actually still managed to pull it off.
I cannot recall - although some sources claim that I have - if I ever played a game where the USA just sends an squadron of bombers to Europe every turn, but I can see how that can quickly reduce the Germans. Haven’t played with interceptors and escorts for quite some time, so count me in if you want to start a game with those included.

I’m in for a game with Escorts and Interceptors as well. Cap, you want to have another crack at the allies or would you like to play axis? I’m fine with anything. If you pick allies, me and Hosen will (I assume) switch ownership of Japan and Germany and I will post G1.
