I really like how the map looks right now. So I’m going to need for you not to make any purchases or offensive movements or really anything for about 5 or 6 turns. Just let me slowly slaughter everything and this game will be a lot of fun and not mentally challenging.
Once the dust settles, I am very curious about those fighter moves in Africa. I’m assuming they are a pivot to either shut the GIB door or move on to the African fight.
I also like your fighter attack in FIC- that was pretty cool. Bummed my destroyer attack on ANZAC was a failure.
Another thing. In a J-3, have you ever seen anyone go balls out after Russia with the Japanese early in the game? (with success?). I mean Attack turn 1, build an IC in Korea and just fucking go for it. While fending off the other 4 forces.
Is the addition of 6 Russia infantry in Central Asia worth the possibility of subtracting 3-5 IPC’s+ , and possibly the Russian East Army. At first glance the answer seems obviously no.
However, I almost wished that I had tried it this game just to see what would happen over the long haul. A large Japanese Army in the Far East could eventually, besides taking that alley, curl around and finish off China and head for India/ME. Not to mention the damage done to Russia. I think I’d like to try it once we move on to MOD.

I have seen a j1 attack in amur if the russians stack there. I have aeen aggressive J3 into russia if the russians kept moving west. But only in those 2 scenarios. In BM there a boost to the lend lease NO if japan attacks russia at any point. That plus the mongolians tend to deter a early attack on the russians, but i have been pondering the same thing. I am in a bm game that the russians headed east, and i set up my units for a j4 into russia. Wish i had done a j3 into russia along with everything else, but i would have needed to place my j1 factory in shantung instead of kiangsu to do so.
