@mainah oh man I thought they weren’t connected… that’s why I put a blocker up in SZ26… There goes the American fleet… Max defence I suppose, carriers 1st
Even a blocker @ SZ 31, I could have launched an air only strafing attack, and resupplied the air for a follow on attack the next turn. The optimum move would have been to leave behing your ground forces in Hawaii, and retreat to SZ 10 as I would not have been able to block a counter attack from where I was starting. Then with a decent fleet/air buy on the west coast, I would not have been able to capture/hold Hawaii.
