@insanehoshi Yea i memorized 85 useless different unit types, but i was talking about new players, and also seeing the values helps calculate combat more quickly. With counters i can easily add in the 15 bonus unit types that are also useless.

Huh, I have no idea how that was missed before! I think I must have just seen capture and always stopped there. I’ll see if I can delete this post!

No limit. You may spend all your IPP on it having 1 minor factory with a supply path to the regular infantries. Such are the current rules (may 2021)
Optional house rule: count motorized upgrades as using up production slots for factories.

@MAX1313 I think you misspoke a bit above. You mention V3 every time, when I think you meant V2 somewhere in there.

I’m not 100% positive on this, but I believe the East vs. West Expansion was created with V3 in mind. Meaning, some of the territory names on the map have changed from V2. So if you only have the V2 map, I think you’ll see things from the East vs. West Expansion that do not make sense.

One of the reasons I’m debating getting V3 still. Would love to have the compatibility with the Expansions, as I have a feeling V2 will fall completely to the wayside eventually, which would make sense.

@GeneralHandGrenade Thanks GHG, good to know! I’m in no rush for them to be done, was just curious if they’d been on HBG’s radar to update the existing ones, since they would need it to reflect changes. Not surprising this would wait until after V3’s realease!

@GeneralHandGrenade The end of your “Misunderstood Rules” video reminded me of this discussion.

Upon reflection, I think what I was really getting at with the way the beta rules are written is that they never explicitly state that surface warships other than Destroyers cannot attack submarines with the help of an aircraft on MAP. It is only implied that other ships cannot do this.
