I don’t know if you’ve seen this one before. It’s a sneaky maneuvre with Italy making an intrusion into Russia. Then Germany can tag along without having to DOW and thereby make progress while still gaining the trade with Russia.
This is not possible in BM3.

This is not possible in BM3.
Sorry to intrude but I believe this is an illegal move even for OOB. Triple A allows it but I believe the rulebook does not. But alas I do not know where it state that. You should maybe check with a rules guru.
That’s ok. What I remember this move was played consistently when I began playing in the league. I’ll try to investigate it as well.
@trulpen Hi guys, the rule book states the following: “Land Units: A land unit can move into any friendly or friendly neutral territory, (…).” As the ex-Russian territory is now Italian territory, it should work. I think I heard aboiut it in the past, and I believe it is an OK move. I also forgot about it. And I haven’t even looked at the saved game yet :-O I will do so now and play Russia.
