We do understand thatās itās not perfect yet, but the new forums provide tons of new and useful features like mobile ready, chat, drafts for posts, better search, and more. On top of that weāre making changes and fixing problems every day to make it work exactly how you want.
Take a look at the migration to do list and the update log to see all the hard work that has happened and all of the tasks yet to do.
Hosting costs have gone up for the new forums. The monthly hosting bill is about 50% higher than previously. On top of that email costs have gone up; however, now you all are finally receiving all the email alerts.
This support drive will end on December 31, 2021 and the next one will begin in 2022.

@gen-manstein The patron-only forum would be just one section of the site. Not site-wide. It would likely be for things like special deals from our Sponsors and maybe planning special events. Likely low traffic but I wouldnāt know until we tried.

Any benefits of patronage would be nice, but it was the badges which worked for me :trophy: . I saw them on forum posts, which led me to the donation page and consequently I felt like I should make a donation. Maybe some people would pay for removing ads but I donāt find them too intrusive on the forums.
To be honest A&A, this website, TripleA and the A&A community are way better than any startegy game Iāve purchased. Iām totally hooked! Hopefully more new people will find it and then become paid up members too.
