You know, I realised after I posted the German turn that I should have landed the fighter which started in the Channel back on the CV, rather than landing on France. I could then have mobilised a fighter in France and landing a tac on Normandy isn’t really a problem. And reviewing the dice, upgrading one of the 3s to a 4 would surely have prevented a hit in the third round (round 4) where you hit 5/5. This would have left me with 2 fighters, preventing the attack on London from even being made.
Argh!
