This game went wrong for me from the start.
Instead of destroying Ur tranny and dd, I ve lost fig and dd, and U nothing.
Then I oversaw J2DOW, lost bunch of usa trannies, a cruiser, got convoy blockaded, lost precious ANZAC and UK units.
U and the dices gave me lessons that I will definitely remember and not allow myself to be smashed like this in the early opening again.
My initial plan was to take down Ur Malta fleet, use that fig and the one that went to Iraq for Egypt defense. Also, to bring all air from UK to Egypt on rd 2.
With all the other land units in ME that should be enough to defend Egypt, especially since i could buy an IC and/or AB in Egypt on rd2.
As for sz 96 next time i ll definitely attack it with 3 units; and bare minimum is fig and tac combo.
On the Pacific my plan was to collect all the ANZAC, UK, USA, French ships and merge them into a solid navy in Indian waters and defending India and threatening Big islands at the same time.
But U smashed my plans.
I ll play for some more time to see how it goes out, to test some strategies and tactics, but if i dont get a solid improvement on position in a few rounds, I am toast. Only luck can save me.

Yeah, for many players it is not intuitive to DOW2 here, as with all this pressure Japan usually has the reflex to delay the DOW and the Germans benefit from USA entering the war late in round 4.
However, as the US fleet was sitting at California, total war was not much of a difference for Japan as UK had declared war anyway, so Japan rather takes action and stays in the driver’s seat by smashing significant numbers of Allied boats and collect more money a turn sooner.

Yes, I put units to sz 10 only as a diversion, my inital plan was to go for Europe heavily, but if i moved them to Panama and build a harbour there it would maybe prevent U from going J2DOW.
I simply wasnt expecting it.
U ve lost 3 figs in Java, but my anzac loss there is greater since i can not replenish those 3 figs, and U can.
That is why its important to play against top players, i mean test Ur strategies against them.
Because something can go smoothly against weaker players (not weak, but not top) but when U pass the test of a top player, then this strategy has sense.
It seems to me that before some time J2 was very popular, and that know J3 is n1, dont know what to say about J1, never tried it xd
