    Actually, it moves during NCM. It has to stop when encountering des, but can stay in the sz.

    My peace-pipe-smoking sub really wanted to go to z36, but got caught on the way by evil destroyers.


  • “Unlike other sea units, submarines can move through and even into hostile sea zones in the Noncombat Move phase. However, a submarine must end its movement when it enters a sea zone containing one or more enemy destroyers.” (p. 22, Phase 4: Noncombat Move)


  • Worth to note is that you may ignore the sub if warships are present and then units will be able to load onto trannies. If it is attacked though, the sz will be actively hostile.
