Does anyone know if it is possible to play Axis & Allies Pacific online? Whether there are any plans to turn this game into a playable app for iPad/Steam?

@dawgoneit Every installation creates a TripleA shortcut on your desktop. Now those shortcuts look totally identically, so you need to figure out which shortcut is for which version.

So doubleclick on any shortcut and see which version starts. You determine the version on the top left of the starting screen:

Here you see it is Engine Version 2.1.20613.

Now load 2.1 savegames by klicking “Open Saved Games” and selecting the file.

In case you start the 1.9 engine load 1.9-savegames the identical way.

everyone in the game can save the game at any point

so you can start a game, and save it later, and continue the next day

also, you can take a play by forum game and start playing it live in the lobby, and also you can take a live game and start playing it pbem.  the games can switch at any point you want.

did you download the source code or did you download the installed?
go download the installer,
double click it, it will install the game
