So I took the lesson about being more aggressive in the wrong direction - It is not applicable to the allied side at all. Losing terribly on all my league games where I am allies. The opening move with the fleet to Gibraltar opens up Egypt way too much - meaning a behemoth Italy by turn 6. And I have another game where I am the axis - and Aus and India have turttled hard, and while letting Japan expand and get some pretty good money - its stymied an avenue of a Pac win in the near term. in Europe, Russia turttled hard, and again - cant find my way to the victory cities like I would have liked. Looking into what would be a actual strategy, and how that affects the move by move. Middle earth seems promising like you did it, but I am unsure.

Regarding Allied Strat. Germany and Japan are both such tough nuts to crack. I think ME Has to be done in some form.
For Germany- Italy has to be neutered. Then I think straight to Normandy is the best way to go. And then just slog it and pray to God the Russians and ME force can hold long enough to with Germany to defense.
The Norway option is great for clipping off points, but there is no direct pressure against Germany.
Having UK in a position to leap frog is a must if going into Europe. And the Denmark move is (or having the potential to do it) is pretty darn key.Blah blah blah, I don’t know. How to crack the German nut is just really a tough question.
Then there is Japan. And again, clipping wings off of them is very doable, as is delaying them, but shutting them down requires so much effort. The US has to go almost all in. I actually am coming to like that China move I used with my Russians in that one game.
It’s all so much. But I do think we are getting closer to seeing what works and the proper attack lines to invest in.
I wish my Japanese hadn’t been so unlucky in this game early on, I think it really skewed the outcome. On the other hand, maybe that’s a good thing.
I’ll do a J-3 in the next game or the one after, which I think will give us better information about what is possible.

Having an insanely hug airforce is pretty key. -
The biggest problem for the Allies is they have so little margin for error. Yet at the same time, they need to be played fast and loose. They have the longer odds, so one must take bigger risks.
What you are doing a great job of is forcing me to earn what I do. Your severely limiting my options which is really good. You have done some great things with ANZAC in this game and you maximized China big time.
There were some moves you made n the PAC I just didn’t understand. As in, I had no idea what was being tried on me and what the consequences might be- I was absolutely in the dark. Which sucks, because I can’t r=give any meaningful feedback because of it. Maybe we can look this over once we are done and break some stuff down into- ‘ifs’ and ‘thens’.
