Will do. I am going to edit my german sub in 125 back in. As you dont have a destroyer - i would have submerged. An attack @ 2 vs a D @ 1, or a guarantee survive at submerge. Sometimes, when applicable, you’ll have to ask your opponenet if they want to submerge or not. Sometimes - like when i attacked you - its very clear that your opponenet would have wanted a submerge, because the battle is so lop sided with no strategic advantage.
With that in mind - do you want me to edit your russian sub in a different place?

As to my sub; I honestly haven’t a clue as how to play either of those Russian pieces.

I figured the cruiser was going to die - was a calculated risk, and an expected loss.

Yeah - the russian sub in the baltic are like the infantry at stalingrad - you hope they deter, and if not throw them at the germarns and hope that they hurt something.
You can try convoying with the one in the atlantic.
I’m sure veteran players use it better.
