My goal was to make it to Round 8. Looking very yellow and brown right now. I guess it’s good I really like both sushi and lamb picatta.
The transport as part of my bid was a waste of $$ I see now. Not very useful after turn 1, not in the Indian ocean anyways. 7 could have been spent much better in a lot of places. Those 2 inf from SA can wait a turn or two to get in the action.
The only thing I can see the US doing since the beginning in the pacific is keeping the IJN partially occupied - and just the ships, not the air force. Currently, my postioning allows you to concentrate your airforce right where you want it and- near india, while still covering your navy, making any move I make near suicidal. Trying to seriously hold calcutta doesn’t seem to make any sense.Italy is huge. The Vichy trigger is something I had limited understanding about - now that I see it, I really got to go and read some other games more throughly.
Trying not to beat myself too much - first game. I am very much enjoying it. Thank you for playing such a Noob.
