    I couldn’t finish planning Japan’s turn this evening. Tomorrow evening. Well played, I had an invasion force that could overpower UK mech, air and convoy to defend India. And my 2 turns of SBR had cut your ability to build. So you just put a minimum of units, but also a fighter, so I couldn’t just send in a token force. Plus the UK planes in Burma and Persia can counterattack. And being in Burma, you can retake India and Yunnan. Plus the U.S. tank and bombers or Chinese can can open for UK mobile. And the U.S. fleets can hit lots of targets. Sudden turn of events for Japan. I was hoping that UK mobile would go back to southern Russia. I don’t want to give up on India or Sumatra, so will take lots of planning.

    The (Japanese) Empire strikes back! This will be the high water mark for Japan with India and income. With detailed planning and many planes, I was able to garrison Manchuria and Peking sufficiently and consolidate a northern fleet, while still taking India and Sumatra. I couldn’t defend the home waters, but you have only 2 tt’s and no planes that can reach the homeland this turn. My marines came in handy. Took Ceylon as a land base for my planes if UK planes attack the fleet in India. Used a tank and marine to take Marianas with max offense. Altho, as it turned out with the dice, an inf and art would have sufficed. It was critical to deny you an N.O. and take away potential troops for your empty tt in Carolines. With just one loaded tt in Caroline and many targets too far for air support, you have limited options. But of course Japan has a few vulnerable spots.
