The last two rounds on the Eastern front, the defenders have mostly given up with battle fatigue. I should get something for rolling 4-6’s in the Cauc. Well, the Russian mobile army must know it can never come home again. Smart for the Russian air force to join the UK resistance. Not much need for them in China with the U.S. in position to invade the coast. Just wish Germany could help Japan, but it will take time to get there. In a game with ArtofWar, Germany eventually sent bombers and fighters. But in that game, Japan owned China, so it was easy to fly to the coast in 2 turns.

The critical battles went my way. SZ54 was 50/50 because your sub had first strike chance. It was worth the risk to sink 21 points with max loss to me of 12 points. More importantly, taking out a tt and a DD. The only DD the U.S. has to sink my subs in sz54 would leave your fleet w/o a DD to face all my subs. Wished I had an arty for Marianas, but won anyway. But hated to lose my only tt. Wanted to gamble in sz25 to get your other DD, but didn’t want to risk my fleet if you attacked it. Wanted to take out Chahar & Hopei, but was unlikely to capture them; and would weaken Yunnan’s garrison against an all out UK attack there. Also risked losing a plane. 18 convoy damage hurts, but I still earned 44. U.S. has enough troops, tt’s & planes to cause major damage this turn.

@FMErwinRommel Well that turn caused me a lot of thinking with various different scenarios! But decided in the end. I was happy to see all of my bombing raids come through unscathed, but your japanese defending was ferocious…especially in shan and borneo where you went 2/2 in each.
Was able to knock out each of your lone dds so I still ahve more subs than you can kill causing japan economic pain…and 3 factorys also within bombing range to further cause harm…your 44 or less will soon be very stretched!
You have yet again forced the allied navy from the channel so we hide away in the safety of the med, but an allied landing in force wont be long off!
