Your right Frimmel, the thin mints don’t do so well in the heat. Bojangles packed a box once and and he ended up just pouring them into his mouth. Most of us just carry peanut butters.

I don’t have all the details on where these cookies came from. Apparently some company in the states wanted to ship 300 boxes of girl scout cookies to the army guys, but they added an extra 0 on there. The Army got more than they needed, and gave us a few.  :-D

Still, that does not explain why you chose that era to use the names from. It was not the correct time (as during the NATO and Pact times the Germanies were “independent” nations), and not the current time (as there is noWarsaw Pact anymore).
Actually, “it turned out after the war that all of it was NATO” …
What was the reason to use the intermediate era and thus historically misleading names?

I thought it was occupied until the wall fell in the 80’s/90’s?

I cannot think of another nation I’d rather have as a neighbour. Of course, they’ve had a couple hundred years to get used to the OCD nation south of the border.

well, we do “care” about the environment - prolly more than America, as well as many other nations. We are the home of Greenpeace, afterall. Also there are many “renewable resource” programs in place, and dozens of friends of mine spend their summers working tree-planting for these logging companies, etc.
No no, not logging. Our shame is in Alberta - a province that is working against Kyoto and environmental measures (it’s the Texas of Canada - with the good and the bad), not that Ontario is so great either - much industry near Toronto etc. Also we do waste quite a bit. Nice having all that landfill room.
