I was responding to Ted’s comment that I would secretly be hoping the Axis lose IF I was playing the Axis. I play this game, 25 percent because of personal history, 50 percent because of my love of history and 25 percent for the love of competition/strategy.

Looks like we need to flip a coin or start a bid. Let’s start the bid at 50 if we can’t decide. 50 for the Axis. As in “I will play the Axis if you give me 50. Counter offer?”

Just to make it clear - the move did not require the newly build carriers.
All the planes from the sz26 attack could land on already existing carriers if I just had won the sz50 battle as my carriers could move to sz31 and pick up the planes.

Bought the two carriers to have “a second option” for landing :-)

understood, but i wanted to just double check whether that rule really intended to cover this case or not. more for next time, as i’ll proceed with this as is and chalk it up as a lesson learned.
