Are we using battle calculators? Are we sending the files to each other here or over email? The play by email function is broken (technical issues) on my end, so we can’t use that (we’ll just have to use the local game function and I’ll track dice to ensure neither of us are cheating). Well that turn was about as hard to decide as any I’ve done before. I haven’t lost Yunnan ever before. My fault, I was playing too close to the edge–I was focused on this possible new dynamic of developing an interior China force that would be a threat for awhile. Of course, I should have just overwhelmed it and lost the inf next round, but losing it now is critical in a way I hadn’t appreciated.
Also, I really didn’t want to leave the UK so open, but with the added 10 IPCs for Russia. SeaLion was always non-optimal, but I would guess not even really an option considering how large the Russians could become.

Yeah - this is the first time I have ever built a carrier on G1. However I think taking Moscow is going to be next to impossible so I am hunkering down to protect my sea lanes instead.

Are you noticing the game responds slowly? I have had mulitple Java Heap Error crashes. I see that time to time in other games but only if the game has been up for many days.
