Ok, I did forget about the French ftr reinforcing after the Italians. So the battle is 75-25 for Axis, which I would agree is probably not what @AndrewAAGamer wants to bet the game on.
That’s not at all what I get in my analysis. Did you miss the UK bs and des? Or some figs?

The suggestion for US. No dice rolled, so still changeable. What do you say?
Some alternatives are a) to build 1 inf less and bring the mech that attacked Tunisia to Norway instead, boosting the defence there, b) land two more US figs on the carriers by Marianas, waiting to land the aussie ones on the one of the other incoming carriers next turn, c) not keeping a des in z26, since it will hardly be needed against the attack of 1 sub, unless we’re super unlucky.
Think I will change b and c, but keep the inf and reinforcement move.

What I can see J may attack z22 with 5 fig, 3 tac, 2 sb and z33 with 3 fig, 3 tac.

Yes. I would have added a sub. I am happy to trade a $6 sub for an $8 destroyer instead of risking a $10 plane to get the destroyer for free.
@trulpen The counter requires the Italian AF to attack. If they get 3 hits 1 BB + 2 DD it would be favorable for the Axis. But I forgot that you could take 1 ftr hit and replace with french. Thus the 3 hits are 1 BB + 1 ftr (replaced) + 1DD. In which case it becomes 50-50 (very variable 50-50! Even the battle calc is all over the map.) I don’t think anyone would want to risk that unless they felt they were losing.
