Yes, don’t think Italy be strong in this game.
maybe on the land. we shall see.
I believe Italy needs a fair fleet in order to pressure and control Africa, specifically Cairo, and the ME. But maybe their role is better defending mainland EU?
or smashing Russia with Germany , or roaming to Iraq and Pakistan xd
Helping G with can-opening is likely Italy’s most important mission in the early rounds.

but u should admit the dice from french turn then, since u re the one that was doing edits with italy afterwards
