Just noticed in another game that Triple A let me land a Japanese plane in a just conquered country (in China). So they might not always enforce that rule properly! In this case, I just walked into the territory on a combat move but without fighting. So maybe that made a difference?

That’s weird, not even the Chinese with their special rules can land in a newly conquered territory.

It was Suiyuyan. I invaded with an inf and then was able to land a plane. Maybe I should try to report this to the Triple A developers?

My Triple A also gave me some weird error. So maybe it is buggy. I just tried out a SBR on Moscow and a Russian fighter died, but it didn’t remove it from the territory.

The fighter landing ended up not being a bug. It notifies me at the end of the turn and then doesn’t let me end the turn. I thought it should have notified me earlier.

Have you ever seen the Russians abandon their capital and then take out Italy or Germany?
In theory if the stack was big enough, at a certain point Italy and/or Germany wouldn’t be able to buy enough units to stop it. Though it looks like the map might not allow this maneuver. You’d want to move from Russia to a territory that isn’t adjacent to Bryansk, but is one move closer to Germany. It also wouldn’t work if the Germans had too many mobile units.

Hmm, I’m probably attacking the fleet on S37. Should I ask you for OOL after each round of combat? It’ll probably be our most critical battle so far.

Yes please and, yes, I’ve seen Russia both punch back immediately and go for a roam around for a bit and then come back with friends. I’m not sure that works against strong players.
