I would never ever attack at those odds. you had odds at around 40% and -40+ average score… but of course you got extremely lucky and scored way over average. I would never win consistently if I played that recklessly. it’s just gambling at this point on your part. I don’t like playing against gamblers to be perfectly honest, because of course they can and sometimes do get lucky and it’s just that, luck. no real strategy here.

My other option was to turtle down in Germany and wait for the Allies to inevitably beat me with their economic advantage. I would take the 30% of a good outcome over slowly getting ground to a pulp. My chances of winning improved by doing that battle. I wouldn’t call that stupid.

you should be trying to invest more in learning the strategies of this game, not resorting to wild dice favors. maybe you don’t have an interest in getting better? I guess this is why typically master and expert level players stick to the higher tier opponents, to avoid stupidity like this. sorry but this is not my kind of game where luck is the deciding factor so early in the game, I mean it’s not like you had to be desperate, it’s still only round 4. I’d understand this kind of gambling if you were way behind and really didn’t have any other choice. but this, this feels like your entire strategy from the beginning was a to beat me on a gamble.

I am much more conservative against inferior opponents and try to avoid putting myself in a position where he can roll the dice for a possible victory.
