It doesn’t matter in this case, but principally you’re not allowed to pick up the marine in CM unless you also unload it in an amphibious attack. If it was pre-loaded, it could just follow with the cr. Not sure if the marine could drop off during in NCM then, but I think so.
In this case there was no need for the cr in the battle, so we can just consider it to have moved in NCM.
