    Nah, I played it from the bat. Just don’t have so many complex plans with neither US nor UK, and definitely not the fucking Chinese! :laughing:

    There are actually several ideas combined. The first is of course to disrupt convoys if possible. The second is that any ship that attacks the sub will be stuck in the sea zone. The third is that if the sub is attacked, then a bs can’t pick up the marine from sz1 The last one is not much to brag about since sz2 is available, but might still make a slight difference atleast.

    Oh, a fourth idea is that there’s only one des around, so Japan can only hit one of the subs anyway. Might as well use this second one for something interesting.

    It’s not fully the case. If you load the marine during CM, you must do an amphibious assault with the marine as well. It’s possible of course in British Columbia. If the marine was pre-loaded, it would be the case you described.
