Why is fortress America so expensive?

You can try eBay. Some people buy whole games and sell the pieces off separately. That can be a good source for little bits, when you don’t want or need the whole game again.

@eisenhower I’m a year late but never mind! Are these game boards that HBG sells actually the out of the box ones or a print on vinyl/plastic?

I’m looking for a cheap decent copy of ‘Fortress America.’ If it will cost more than $45 including shipping pleases don’t bother contacting me. I’m whiling my Corona Lockdown time away in wargaming.

In regards to extra minis, a good source is fellow used/new boardgames. If you want extra minis for say Axis & Allies game(s) there are the Axis & Allies minis of air/sea/ land units.

Also Tide of Iron, and, Memoirs’ 44 and Zvezda WW 2 games is a good source for units.

Finally WW2 Battlesets from Airfix and Italeri and Bum is another source.

Choices have grown since early 2006.
