@Sovietishcat Yes I believe so with the fall of two capitals. There was some terror balance in the Pacific, but somehow Japan seemed to be able to hold on, just barely.

@Sovietishcat Yeah I got it now! Couldn’t make out what you meant with GIB (kinda new here and to some of the common expressions). Yeah, I agree, the pressure off Japan is noticeable. Until just now I just had to build navy to keep up with US/ANZAC. Now with the (at least temporary) capture of Calcutta, my income is good even without the islands.

Ok, I understand! I think it could have gone either way when looking at the mid-game rounds. I agree that the attack in the Med was a turning point in regards to that you had to start putting a lot of US money in the Atlantic. I was worried about Japan though. I think you very neatly took the money islands and got a very very dangerous foothold in Caroline Islands! Thank you for a fun game :)
