yeah sz 25 hurts
but remember i attacked that same sz 25 with bomber and des against a sub and lost a des, and sub lived if i recoll
or it was amur sz -
as for manchuria and kwangsi those were risky. not clear ones. luck didnt folowed u for shure, but its a problem when u have to take many territories i know, U have to stretch ur self a lot

That is true. But when U go 3 units vs 3, its not the same as 30 good units against 30 weak.
I had 1 aa among that 3, but U had a, bomber.
What i want to say, when facing battles with small number of units, there is always much more risk since it is possible that 2/2, even 3/3 score hits.
Especially when the attacker has low attack value units too.
But nominally those odds u mention stand, that is true
