Update to the dice rollers: Feb. 14, 2007
I’ve created a dice roller that can be used in the forums to play games or do whatever you need. All of the dice results are randomly generated. Some of the dice commands return the results sorted for convenience. The commands provided here get more and more specific towards playing A&A games in the forums.
Sorted multi-sided dice results
To roll many sided dice use the following command<colon>dice ndm <colon>Replace <colon>with an actual colon “:”
Replace n with the number of dice to roll.
Replace m with the number of sides per dice.For example, this will roll 10 6-sided dice (be sure to include a colon before and after the command) …

Rolling 10d6:
(2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6)Grouped and sorted multi-sided dice results grouped
Just like the above but you can roll many groups at once<colon>dice ndm xdy <colon>For instance you can do the following (again, be sure to use colons before and after)

This is like the previous command except that if you do not specify the number of side it will default to 6.dice 1

As of Feb. 14, 2007 this is new. This command will roll 6-sided dice in groups. The dice will be displayed in their corresponding groups in the order in which they were generated. Each group has and hits-on rating. This command will display the hits for each group and also calculate the total number of hits. You must have at least one group or you may have multiple<colon>aaa i@j n@m x@y <colon>For instance, here is the battle:

Sounds like a ratehr even distribution, within normally expected variables.
Also, I would just like to say that I was able to use the new Dice Roller to determine the pairings for Round 3 of the Tournament.
Before this, I had my wife roll dice and tell me the roll, and I would match them to the numbers I had assigned to the players. This time, I was able to do that publicly so that everyone could see the rolls.
