Iwo Jima. I did fear the IJN moving to the Philippines or (worse) the Carolines and me needing to run away, but they didn’t do that.
You did block the Chinese coast. Perhaps I would have hit both.

Yeah, I wanted to crush the aussies, but didn’t dare a full attack on their capital, despite slightly better odds, so went for a disruptive strategy instead while at the same time bolstering Japans income. Maybe not the right choice, but we’ll see how it plays out.

Seems I forgot to but a blocker in Shan state. Maybe from not having to take the territory back. Would you accept to edit that before doing UK-Pac?

When I flew the US bomber in, the odds went against the attack on Sydney, I thought or perhaps I forgot the bombardments. I did wonder if you would go a full on attack anyway. I think it would have all but staked the game on that attack. USA wasn’t coming to rescue if you won and you’d eventually get India if not Hawaii. I was surprised though that you didn’t stack up Queensland and build an IC. One unescorted TT was left within range of the bomber, so you’ve actually built 5TTs this game. Wow. I think the disruptive strategy was the best call. Probably should have been the first move but I doubt it will make a difference. Axis should have this one.

Yes, exactly, I moved 3 from FIC to Yunnan, but if it’s ok to change that to 2 and 1 to Shan state instead, that would be more like I knew what I was doing. ;) Might be I missed it from being tired. Probably did the move quite late.

Yes, I believe Japan really needs those trannies. Essential for island play. I wanted to do it earlier, but think I considered to becoming to exposed. When you moved into Iwo Jima, that freed up the move. Staying put and building a mIC was definitely an option, but the problem with that is that the troops would be tied up for 2-3 rounds and only gradually getting the transports into play. Or it would take 4 rounds to go back with them and get more men.
