    You had an excellent defensive round and rolled better than I anticipated. I took a lot of hits. When this game is over I look forward to some dialogue about tactical decisions throughout the different phases. I would really enjoy that and can learn from other players like you. I liked the 1-2 punch in Korea with Russia dropping in after before Japan can clean out the US. Nice.

    I look forward to that as well. I’m not sure the background of many of these players, but I consider this as the “big conversation.” My experiment this game has been investment in an Indian navy to draw you apart at the seams.

    @crockett36 You have certainly reduced my navy in the Pacific. Honestly, my goal was to see how you would defend against a strong India crush. I saw where Gargantua used a tactic of placing the AB and NB where Japan could hit Calcutta on J3 strong enough to take it. I thought a blockade was best, but you’ve gone about it differently.

    @crockett36 Planes, trains and automobiles - made the journey back to Guam. On the scramble - is it only the sub or are the planes and carrier also involved in sz 6 battle? And, is there an SBR on Japan also? When I open the map it looks like your other units are not involve in combat, just the sub by virtue of my units being placed there. Thanks.

    If your bomber, carrier and 2 fighters are not involved in anything else then I’ll scramble just to make sure I can kill the sub in the first round of combat. Lose the destroyer if the sub hits. Thanks.

    I looked at the saved game a little further and see there is a scramble opportunity in the english channel. No scramble there. Upon opening the file it immediately asked to scramble in sz 6 and I didn’t look past that.
