I checked everything, but as soon as I posted, I noticed that I hadn’t moved my transport back to sz113. So the edit is for that.
Germ built the CV to defend the approach to Baltic. Was pleasantly surprised that I had the chance to use it indirectly offensively. Attack odds in sz91 were 70% with the added planes. I thought it was worth the gamble. Even though no transports, it would eliminate most allied DD’s and weaken UK fleet, reducing odds of UK threatening Baltic.

The UK sub submerged?
Max defense would mean taking out the lowest powered unit first to preserve a stronger unit.
The UK Sub (not the CV) should have taken the German sub hit in the first round, because the latter were not going to survive and the UK sub cannot hit aircraft and vice versa. When making a decision for an opponent, the goal is to do what is in the best interest of the opponent. Basically, taking the hit on the UK sub would have saved the Allies 1 hit from attacking air and given them the opportunity to hit the attacking air.
I chose the CV because it was the max defense default in the battle calc and I didn’t think about the implication. Then on round 2, UK sub submerged because it couldn’t hit. There is a way to roll dice in the forum so the result can be shown. Your sub would have sunk in R1 and a U.S. DD survives to fire in R2 and sinks in R2 instead of a U.S. fighter, which gets to fire in R3. Germ got 6 hits in R3, so no R4. Roll for DD at power of 2 for one round and fighter at 4 for one round. Can you do that, as I never learned how. Then I will reduce my bombers by any hits.

///A hit to tilt a CV (or BB) usually makes sense in a max defense. I use to automatically did so until Axis Dominion tutored me about situations where a better defense was possible.

Well, I either the dice roller is still not working, the format has changed, or I did something wrong.
Let me set up a sim battle involving a US DD and F (and German bombers). We’ll use the Ally rolls only.
Marti notification indicates that the 2 missed (rolled 3); the 4 hit (rolled 2).
Will edit out 1 German bomber.
Apparently, you also need to edit the German bomber in Pacific?
If so, let me know what you want done, I can do the edit along with the other.
Alternatively, you can do the two edits and repost G-26.
Sorry for messing that up. Don’t normally have sea battles with that combo of units. Okay, please remove UK sub from sz91, Germ bomber from Normandy and edit Germ bomber out of Phil into Japan. Thanks for taking care of this.

Apparently, I forgot to bring the ANZAC sub in SZ 31 and the ANZAC fighter on Wake Island back into the fold. With your permission, I would like to edit them out of unnecessary danger.
Fine with me, move the ANZAC units. The Allied move presents Japan will a range of options to redeploy to face the new situation.
