No scrambling.
Intercept these nasty bombers with three fighters please.
Well that’s it then. I think I shouldn’t have gotten agitated in Europe. Japan is actually doing better than I thought it would be.
I’ll post the result.
Thanks for a challenging and interesting game. After a terrible first round for the Allies and for many rounds after, you had really worried.

I don’t agree with the comment that the allies had a terrible first round! Germany had an awful first round. France and SZ106 went about average, but losing the Kriegsmarine in SZ112 and 2art 1arm in Yugoslavia are unexpected outcomes. As is taking no action in the Med but holding Egypt - I guess that was more possible because of SZ112 losses making Sea Lion improbable.
Oh and thanks for the game.
Round 1 was terrible in my opinion because the Allies most important Round 1 goal of significantly damaging the German air force was not achieved. (This is in stark contrast to your RAFs excellent showing–taking out 4 German Tacs and 2 fighters.) My recollection of our previous game is that all 4 scrambled UK fighters were lost, and not a single German fighter or tac was taken out. The powerful German air force left the UK vulnerable to a Sea Lion. I agree that the rest of Round 1 was pretty much as expected.
You must be getting confused - you didn’t scramble 110, only 111 and it lived. Then the Luftwaffe lost 3 fighters defending SZ112. You lost 1 fighter.
Although in the new game, killing 6 planes G1 was pretty sweet. That’s why I like to scramble G1 if possible - I consider the Luftwaffe more valuable than the RAF.
You are correct. I was thinking of the other game I was playing at the time.
