    Since you didn’t retreat China’s army from Szech to a western province, I tried to see if I could take all of my other targets besides Yunnan and Szech, without using any planes from Asia. I would need every plane in Asia to take Yun and weaken Szech with one round. I can attack the other Asian land targets with just ground troops, but with lower odds and greater casualties. I would have to forego one isle. I can defend Japan’s home waters with new builds and a blocker and without bringing back planes. If I don’t try for Szech, I can take the other targets with overkill. With so many battles, there’s bound to be a bad dice battle or two somewhere. So I best play it safe and use overkill.

    The American ambassador to Australia filed a formal protest that ANZ abandoned the U.S. ships in SZ54, by pulling back its fleet and its air support there. Thanks for pulling back the fighters to NSW. Without an airbase, they can’t support an ANZ fleet attack off Java. Its late, I will take my turn tomorrow evening.

    My bad luck on AA continues, took one hit out of 2 on my first bombing raid. -7 TUV. No battle is overkill, because I’m doing 14 attacks. I sank U.S. blocker, but it hit back, so had to take a plane as my hit, in order to have a blocker of my own.

    Interesting dice rolls. I had some good dice at low odds, like the sub off of Brazil. There were several battles like in Yunnan, where the Chinese missed completely on round 1, but so did my defenders. And UK in Brit Som rolled poorly, but I only rolled average. So the dice didn’t let me take advantage of your poor round 1 dice, to upset the odds by me rolling many hits.

    That’s the second time that a single Russian defender hit an Italian tank. It wasn’t necessary that Italy take Belarus, but I was hoping for income producing property. Also, didn’t want a German plane out of position if it was used to attack Belarus instead. BTW, my prior post was written after the Japanese move, but apparently it sat in draft and didn’t post until I just noticed it.
