@FMErwinRommel I think that is checkmate to you…if the us fleet had managed to eat into the luftwaffe by a significant amount I would have struggled on…but by the time the Us have rebuilt their fleet you will have over run the ME and probably got Moscow as well.

Great game, you are a worthy opponent and I look forward to playing a new set in the new year. I was slowly, but steadily overtaking the Allies, until boom, you invaded the true neutrals and the Allies breathe new life and a serious threat. It was critical to stop the endless flow of troops to Spain. But I couldn’t get my subs close enough and air power alone would have to be overwhelming not to be too costly. I had to do it suddenly, so you couldn’t build more fighters for defense. So I repositioned my fighters to reach your fleet and built maximum bombers in one turn. I have to find a way for Euro Axis to threaten UK in the Med, without stalling the move on Russia.
